GI WACAF Workshop, Republic of Congo

Anne Reglain was one of the trainers at <link http: www.giwacaf.net en _top external-link-new-window external link in new>GI WACAF's national workshop held in Pointe-Noire, Republic of Congo from 27-29 June 2017 and hosted by the Ministry of Transport, Civil Aviation and Merchant Navy. The primary objective of the workshop was to raise awareness of waste management issues during an oil spill incident including planning, waste generation, handling, transportation, storage and treatment.
Anne delivered a series of presentations covering the key topics, supported by the ITOPF film series. The talks generated plenty of questions and interesting discussions from the 70-strong audience of representatives from government departments, oil companies and NGOs.
