Environmenal emergency exercise, Brazil, 5th December 2018

ITOPF has been invited by Petrobras to participate as external observers in their annual oil spill exercise to be held in in Macaé, Rio de Janeiro. The exercise will simulate a spill from a subsea well blowout in Campos basin and test the interaction between Petrobras and governmental agencies, as laid out in the national contingency plan. Duarte Soares will be attending on behalf of ITOPF.
