GI WACAF Regional Conference 2015, Accra, Ghana, 16-19 November 2015

Dr Franck Laruelle and Anne Réglain will be attending the Global Initiative for West, Central and Southern Africa (GI-WACAF) regional conference in Ghana. The objectives of the conference are to raise awareness of oil spill preparedness and response issues with emphasis on the challenges in the region; facilitate information sharing and lessons learned; review the progress achieved since the last regional conference in 2013; and determine priorities for 2016-17.
Franck will be providing training on shoreline response and international cooperation; and Anne will be facilitating the session on legislation. They will also be assisting with an exercise.
