Nicky Cariglia will be presenting a paper at a workshop organised by the Petroleum Association of Japan (PAJ). Nicky's talk will focus on transboundary response issues associated with smaller scale incidents. Given the proximity of multiple state borders in East Asia, there is a risk that a small to medium sized spill could escalate to become a concern for more than state.
The workshop will include a tour of PAJ's response equipment stockpiles, housed in Chiba.
