ITOPF attends NOSCA Clean Oceans Seminar 2023

Senior Technical Adivser, Duarte Soares and Technical Support Coordinator, Shania Hughes made a trip to Bodo, Norway to take part in the NOSCA Clean Oceans Seminar.
Duarte gave a presentation on the role of ITOPF in spill response, with a focus on several recent case studies. Q&A sessions took place throughout the first day of the seminar where Duarte and Shania were able to share knowledge and experience with other participants.
The week rounded off with an exercise ran by OKEA, demonstrating the use of sweeping arms, current busters and booms to contain popcorn in place of oil.
