Ocean Resilience Summit takes place in Brazil
18 September 2025

Responding effectively to spills of pollutants at-sea and on the shoreline requires careful planning and clear collaboration between involved parties. OceanPact Serviços Marítimos in partnership with International Spill Control Organisation (ISCO) and the Regional Association of Companies in the Oil, Gas and Biofuels Sector in Latin America and the Caribbean (ARPEL) addressed these themes during the Ocean Resilience Summit held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in September 2025.
ITOPF joined this year’s forum to speak on its first-hand experience collaborating with international stakeholders involved in ship-source pollution incidents, detailing how effective cooperation enables greater mitigation of environmental and economic damages.
