ITOPF joins GI WACAF National Oil Spill Contingency Plan workshop in São Tomé and Príncipe

ITOPF joined GI WACAF for the National Oil Spill Contingency Plan workshop in São Tomé and Príncipe with Duarte Soares representing the company.

Duarte gave insight into the key tenets of oil spill response preparedness, covering the different approaches required to tackle oil spills at-sea and on the shoreline.  He highlighted successful responses to marine pollution are underpinned by robust contingency plans developed at workshops such as these, driven by inter-regional sub-committees like GI-WACAF.
