ITOPF welcomes Shahbaz Iftikharezaman to the team

We are delighted to welcome Shahbaz Iftikharezaman to ITOPF. He joins as Technical Adviser, operating from the Singapore office.
Shahbaz has a BSc in Applied Chemistry and an MSc in Chemistry. He started his career in the engineering industry, specialising in dry abatement technology for toxic gas removal for the semiconductor industry. He was also part of a scientific research team conducting several Waste to Energy (WtE) sustainability projects for four years. Just before joining ITOPF, he worked as a Port Chemist for the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA). His main duty was to ensure that Singapore Port Regulations were adhered to by vessels calling into port.
